GUE (Global Underwater Explorers) leads scuba education with innovative training protocols and expert educators. We offer programs for all levels, from new to technical divers, enhancing scuba training quality. Initially for exploration projects, GUE courses now include recreational divers, ensuring a smooth transition to technical diving. GUE promotes social engagement through communities and projects, and offers specialized courses like drysuit use, DPV, and the popular GUE Fundamentals. We maintain high standards with regular instructor requalification and diver feedback.
GUE supports conservation through partnerships and university projects documenting reefs and shipwrecks. Our Project Baseline initiative, with over 100 projects in 40 countries, documents local aquatic environments to raise awareness and support political action.
Future projects will integrate divers, submersibles, scientists, and media. Submersibles explore up to 1,000 meters, with divers and subs collaborating up to 150 meters.
Since 2014, Project Baseline, supported by donors, has included archaeology, conducting reef surveys and exploring shipwrecks off various coasts. This ongoing work is detailed in our Annual Reports. Learn more with this infographic.
